About 2,000 people gathered this morning in Prescott Valley for the peaceful “No Kings Rally,” held along Highway 69 between Windson Drive and Glassford Hill Road. From 10AM. to noon, demonstrators lined up on one side of the roadway, waving signs and chanting slogans aimed at expressing dissatisfaction with the current administration.

Participants described the event as a collective call for accountability and a rejection of what they view as overreach by those in power. Families, veterans, students, and residents joined together under clear autumn skies, creating a visible show of civic engagement that drew attention from passing drivers and local media outlets.

Organizers emphasized that the rally was intended to remain peaceful and nonpartisan, focusing on the principle that “no leader should stand above the people.” Volunteers distributed water and coordinated crowd safety, while local law enforcement monitored the event to ensure traffic flow and public order.

By noon, the crowd began to disperse without incident, leaving behind a strong message of unity and democratic participation. Many attendees said they hoped the demonstration would inspire ongoing dialogue and greater community involvement in local and national issues.
